The very first vintage of this particular wine. Martin loves Müller-Thurgau made with skin contact, and this special example of the style comes from a single vineyard called Merschein. The vineyard is very chilly, which results in a long, slow growing season for Müller-Thurgau. The wine is 10 days on the skin.
Unfined and unfiltered, with a small amount of SO2 at bottling.
Tasting notes: medium bodied, stewed apple, dried herbs, mineral, pink grapefruit and lots of finesse
