Producer information: We met Jaryn Nešpor in 2022, and after tasting his wines, we invited him to participate at our first Orange Glou Fair in NYC. We chatted a bit later via email, and we knew we wanted to do something together. But Jaryn hated the idea that his signature "sunglasses" would not be on the label. In the end, we won the battle, and we couldn't be happier!
Vinification method: This is a wild and robust skin-contact sauvignon blanc. It's a testament to the untamed beauty of nature. It is a 100% biodynamic Sauvignon Blanc, meticulously hand-harvested and foot-stomped. After a 10-month journey, it has finally arrived in the States! It is unfined and unfiltered, with a small amount of S02 added at bottling—under 10mg.
Tasting notes: medium-bodied, tart lemon, grapefruit, green apple, fresh bread
Pairings: roasted duck leg with braised red cabbage and duckfat potatoes
