Tinto Amorio founder Anish Patel began as an investment banker when he endured a near-fatal car accident and decided to rethink his career path. While he considered becoming a monk at one point, he decided to take his talents to California, translating the learnings from his previous career into building a natural wine label in California. Patel takes pride in using organic grapes from California. This winery only employs friends and family and donates 5% of its proceeds to California food banks. Only 2500 bottles are made per year.

The Colombard, Gewürztraminer, and Albariño were gently added to a tank and semi-carbonically fermented on the skins for 24 days before being pressed. 100% native yeasts, nothing added, except for a little experimental Zinfandel field blend co-ferment. The wine was aged on the lees before being racked off the thick lees to tank.Unfined, unfiltered with a small addition of So2 at bottling.
