GRAPES: FIELD BLEND OF VERDELHO, PINOT GRIS, SAUVIGNON BLANC
REGION: CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Vinification Method: Winemakers and partners Georgia Staples & Diego Luis Perez founded Zumo (how one says "juice" in Spain) together, and produce wines with no additions of any kind (yeast, malolactic bacteria, clarifiers, stabalizers, acid, sulfites, velcorin, etc.). "Palm Frond" was co-fermented in the classic "throw that in the pot" method in an open top fermenter.
