Producer: The winery is located in Kojsko in Brda, the Slovenian side of Collio. It is here that Janko together with his wife Tamara take care of 5 hectares of vineyards that have belonged to the Stekar family for many generations. The area is beautiful and shares with the Italian side a high vocation for vine cultivation. In the vineyard and in the wine cellar, there is a total absence of synthetic chemical products, but only organic treatments, when needed, also using plant macerates offered by an area, that of Brda, which is characterised by a very rich biodiversity.
Vinification method: Belo is a fun field blend made with grapes from particular plots planted with many different varieties including: Chardonnay, Rebula, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Glera, Friulano and others. All hand-picked in a single harvest and spontaneously fermented. Unfiltered, unfined, and with no added SO2.
